On Going:
Office Help: If you have the occasional hour to give, we
will put you on our on-call list to help with bulk-mailing and
data entry.
URI Watershed Watch Water Quality Monitoring: From May
to October, every other week, monitors perform basic tests on
selected streams, rivers and ponds in the Pawcatuck watershed.
Training is provided in April by URI Watershed Watch and WPWA.
Monitors need to be able to bring monthly water samples to URI.
If you can't commit that much time, we are also looking for alternates
who can fill in for the regular monitor when needed. Monitors
are especially needed in Hopkinton and Exeter.
Scientific Field Studies: Spring and summer habitat studies
of fish and macroinvertebrate populations.
